This module focuses on the care of patients prior to, during, and following a kidney transplant. Included is information about the criteria to be met to be eligible for a transplant, the considerations for patients during the time of waiting for a transplant, the pre-op care and the post-operative - both immediate and long term - care required for and by patients that have received a transplant. Medical, pharmaceutical, and psychosocial nursing care is included.
