This session reviews the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act as well as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ESRD Prospective Payment System, ESRD Quality Incentive Program, and ESRD Seamless Care Organizations and their implications for ESRD care in the U.S. Medicare fee billing codes and the impact on the role of the APRN is also discussed.
