Low health literacy can be a major barrier to successful health outcomes, especially in individuals with kidney disease. Digital technologies offer an opportunity to address this barrier. This session explores options for incorporating technology to improve patient care and education, including case studies using computer-based learning, virtual reality learning, and augmented reality learning.
