ANNA received a grant from the American Nurses Association (ANA) to participate in Project Firstline, a collaborative infection control and prevention initiative. Members of ANNA's Research Committee share information about this project, the educational resources and activities you may see coming from ANNA in the future, and the importance of ANNA being involved in this endeavor.

Accreditation Statement:
The American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

ANNA is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 17499.

ANNA urges participants to be aware of the CE requirements for re-licensure in the states in which they hold a license.

Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to describe how nephrology nurses can impact practice by using tools provided by the American Nurses Association’s Infection Control and Prevention Project.
