Did you know tobacco is a major factor in kidney dysfunction? If not, this session provides you with the information you need to be fully informed. The types and prevalence of tobacco use are highlighted followed by an in-depth review of the physiologic effects of tobacco use on the kidney. Evidence-based cessation methods and patient education resources are covered.
