Neil Goldfarb

Mr. Neil Goldfarb is Associate Dean for Research in the Jefferson School of Population Health. The School offers the nation's second master's program in healthcare quality and safety, and Mr. Goldfarb has taught the introductory course on quality and safety measurement and improvement for the past 8 years. He also serves as Director of Ambulatory Care Performance Improvement for Jefferson University Physicians, the University's faculty practice plan, and in this capacity is responsible for outpatient quality and safety measurement improvement across 16 clinical departments and their divisions. Mr. Goldfarb is widely published on quality and costs of health care, and is Associate Editor of the American Journal of Medical Quality. In previous positions he directed his own quality consulting organization, and was Vice President of Health Services for Philadelphia's first Medicaid HMO.
