Dr Hain is a PhD prepared and ANCC certified adult/gerontological nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience in nephrology. Currently, she a tenured professor, DNP Program Director, and Graduate Co-Coordinator for the AGNP program at Florida Atlantic University, Christine E Lynn College of Nursing. She practices caring for adults CKD and adolescents and adults with mental health disorders. She just started a mental health practice where she hopes to see individuals with mental health conditions and CKD. Dr. Hain's research is focused on improving health outcomes of vulnerable populations living in low resources areas. Dr. Hain has an international presence working with faculty from Thailand and Vietnam. She has conducted research focused on diabetes and CKD in adults living in Guatemala. She is the Past President for the South Florida Flamingo Chapter, the incoming chair for the DEI committee, and is CNN-NP certified. Dr. Hain is member at large for the Forum of Networks and a member of the Forum Medical Advisory Board.
