Rebecca Maxson PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Maxson graduated with a PharmD degree from Auburn University in 2008. After completing a one-year residency in Memphis, TN, she practiced for 6 years at a community hospital where she rounded with the nephrology service. In 2015, she joined the faculty of the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy where she practices with Dr. Davis and other nurse practitioners at the Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) clinic that is part of the University of Alabama in Birmingham system. In the CKD clinic, Dr. Maxson provides comprehensive medication management to patients with all levels and etiologies of CKD. Since 2020, she has also been Assistant Director of the national Advancing Kidney Health through Optimal Medication Management initiative.
