Larry Kessler, Sc.D. is Professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health, University of Washington School of Public Health. He has over 40 years of experience in health services research. He came to the University of Washington from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration where he served as the director of both the Office of Surveillance and Biometrics and Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories at FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health. He is currently involved with several randomized trials and observational studies of comparative effectiveness and patient-centered outcomes research.
