111 - Updates in Home Therapies: QAPI and CMS Rules

As the use of home therapies increases, so does the need for knowledge of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions for Coverage. This presentation differentiates the specific requirements and findings for home therapy audits that will assist in preparation of home dialysis staff. In addition, the requirements for quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) to assist home therapy clinic managers in conducting successful monthly meetings is reviewed.
