210 - Welcome Remarks /// Breakthrough Innovations: Ways to Increase Kidney Transplantation in 2021

‐ May 3, 2021 11:00am

Credits: None available.

Innovative ways to increase both deceased and living organ donation are being explored. Many programs now transplant kidneys from deceased donors who had hepatitis C. Donors with HIV can now donate kidneys to recipients with HIV (HOPE Act). The Executive Order on Advancing American Kidney Health also has tremendous potential for increasing kidney donation and transplantation. This session reviews ground-breaking paradigms in transplantation.
