This presentation is designed to help non-nephrology nurses, who are caring for patients with or at-risk for chronic kidney disease (CKD), learn more about the disease and its therapies. We give an overview of the challenge of helping patients with advanced care planning, symptom management, and end of life care.

Learning Outcome:
After completing this education activity, the learner will be able to state an ability to utilize a professional approach to end of life care and/or hospice care by utilization of correct resources for patients with CKD.
