One of ANNA's popular speakers presents this postconference workshop focusing on the most common psychiatric and mental health pharmacotherapeutics prescribed for individuals with CKD. The actions and benefits of anti-anxiety, neuroleptic, and antidepressive agents are discussed as well as the expected and unexpected effects of those agents in individuals with CKD. Safe dosing, an important component for advanced practice nurses to fully understand, are also addressed.
