040 - New and Resurging Drugs in Chronic Kidney Disease

Advanced practice nurses must prescribe and, along with all other nephrology nurses, must know how to assess and evaluate the pharmaceutical agents used by patients with kidney disease. This session focuses on new medications as well as older drugs that are making a resurgence, with the goal of educating clinicians to safely care for patients using these agents.
