There are specific criteria and challenges for patients who need a combined organ transplant. This session reviews the patient criteria for liver-kidney, kidney-pancreas, and heart-kidney transplants, considerations for the timing of the dual surgeries (simultaneous vs. sequential), and postoperative issues.
