American Nephrology Nurses Association – Provider is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Learning Outcome:
Nephrology nurses will be included in the facility emergency disaster plan required by CMS and will have the knowledge and tools necessary to adequately teach patients about available resources, what to do in case of a disaster, the 3-day emergency renal diet, how the facility will coordinate support, and how to manage on their own in case of a disaster.
