Acute Care Technologies: The Kidneys and Therapeutic Aphaeresis - What's New in TTP and Renal Vasculitis

A focus on apheresis, indications for using this procedure, and the complications associated with performing apheresis are reviewed. While the use of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) has grown tremendously, there are special challenges and considerations for the nephrology nurse in using this procedure with infants and children.
