Focal segmental glomerular sclerosis (FSGS) in the pediatric population is a challenging and complex disease. This session provides an overview of the pathophysiology and treatment for FSGS, including transplant evaluations, apheresis in the pre-transplant phase, and post-transplant management of FSGS recurrence. The efficacy of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) apheresis in refractory FSGS also is discussed.
