The Journal Club will meet four times a year, once per quarter.

Selection of Articles:

The Nephrology Nursing Journal editors will choose articles of interest from recent publications in our field and based on author availability.

Discussion Format:

Our Virtual Journal Club meetings will be structured to facilitate dynamic exchanges of ideas. Each session may include a brief presentation by the author, open-ended discussions, Q&A, and brainstorming on potential collaborations, follow-up studies, etc.

The Goal:

The NNJ Virtual Journal Club will not only enrich our understanding of current practice and researchbut will also strengthen our connections within the nephrology nursing community. It presents an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and advancing our collective knowledge.

Nursing Continuing Education Development Contact Hours:

Individuals who participate in the NNJ Virtual Club meeting will be eligible to receive NCPD contact hours.  Members in attendance will receive a code to access the contact hour evaluation at no cost. Non-members will have the option to purchase contact hours.

The primary objective of NNJ Virtual Journal Club is to foster deeper connections within our community, promote collaboration, and advance our understanding of the latest developments in nephrology nursing. By directly involving authors in our discussions, we aim to gain valuable insights, clarify doubts, and explore potential applications of their findings.
