Event Summary
The ANNA Health Policy Workshop is a biennial activity designed to advance ANNA's strategic aim of advocacy. Selected members are invited to gather in Washington, DC where they are educated and prepared about key policy and regulatory issues of priority concern for nephrology nurses and the nephrology patient population. The participants' first effort towards fulfilling their commitment to represent ANNA is to visit Capitol Hill to meet with legislators and staffers to begin their advocacy role. This event kicks off their advocacy journey. Following the workshop, the participants work to mobilize fellow ANNA members to add their voices to ANNA's policy and regulatory advocacy efforts.
