Wai Yin Ho is currently the Clinical Learning & Development Specialist at Pentec Health where she translates research findings and clinical evidence into meaningful communication and educational programs for renal practitioners. Before joining Pentec Health, Wai Yin was a Renal Dietitian for 10 years.
Wai Yin completed her Undergraduate degree and Dietetic Internship Program from University of Alabama. She found her appreciation and strong foundation in evidence-based science through her Master in Clinical Nutrition degree from Rutgers University. Her thesis research focused on developing a predictive equation of Resting Energy Expenditure in Hemodialysis Patients. The findings of her study were published in the Journal of Renal Nutrition.
Wai Yin’s another passion is in Training & Development. She completed a second Master degree in Learning Design & Technology from Purdue University with a focus on Corporate Training, eLearning and Performance Improvement.
Wai Yin is a reviewer for the Journal of Renal Nutrition, a planning committee member for the NKF Spring Clinical Meeting, and an IRB member within Pentec Health. She is proud to be a recipient of the NKF Regional Renal Dietitian Award in 2018.
