Goal: To discuss the pathophysiology, diagnostic approach, and management of patients with acute renal failure (ARF) related to rhabdomyolysis.

Objectives:

Describe the pathophysiology of rhabdomyolysis in patients with ARF.
Identify clinical and laboratory findings that aid in the diagnosis of ARF related to rhabdomyolysis.
Recognize the importance and basis for the various resources of collaborative management for patients with ARF related to rhabdomyolysis.
