Goal: To provide an overview of the role of the nephrology nurse undertaking intra-operative hemodialysis during liver transplant.

Objectives:

Explain the rationale behind the use of intra-operative dialysis during liver transplantation.
Discuss the preparation, equipment, and procedure of intra-operative dialysis during liver transplantation.
Describe intra-operative dialysis prescription during liver transplantation.
