Dr. Rowena Elliott earned a BSN, MSN, and PhD in Education from the University of Mississippi. She became an Adult-Geri NP at the University of South Alabama. As an RN for 42 years, she has experience in long-term care, home health, and dialysis. Dr. Elliott has been a nurse educator for 25 years, with teaching/administrative experiences in all levels of nursing programs. She is a Professor at Emory University and certified in nephrology nursing and nursing education. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and Academy of Nursing Education. Dr. Elliott is also a past president of ANNA.
