Robert Campbell PharmD, BCSCP

Dr Campbell currently serves as the Senior Director, Standards Interpretation, Accreditation Decision Management, and Medication Safety at the Joint Commission. In this role, Dr Campell is responsible for providing oversight for the interpretation of all Joint Commission standards in all accreditation programs. In addition, he is responsible for the oversight of post-survey processes related to accreditation decisions. He also functions as the subject matter expert for medication safety related topics through providing guidance for the development, revision, and interpretation of medication safety related topics. He is a member of the accreditation council, Co-Chair of the National Coordinating Council for Medical Error Reporting and Prevention, and has been appointed to the Compounded Sterile Preparations Pharmacy Specialty Council of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for the 2024-2026 term.
