"Rebecca Lenox completed her dental training at the University of Kentucky in 1993 and received her certificate in periodontology from the University of Tennessee in 1995. Following completion of her training, she spent five years in the private practice of periodontics in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In 2000, Rebecca left private practice to join the Dental Service of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Her current position as staff periodontist includes direct patient care and supervision of general practice and periodontal residents. She has also been directly involved in the creation of a standardized protocol for dental examination and treatment of organ transplant candidates within the VA system. This protocol is currently being utilized nation wide in these facilities."
