Paul Lambrecht BSN, RN

Paul M. Lambrecht, FACHE is the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety for Cooper University Health Care, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine for Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, based in Camden, New Jersey. Paul brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, and in his current role, he sets strategy and provides leadership for quality, safety, and high reliability initiatives, including oversight for infection prevention and control, regulatory affairs and accreditation, medical staff services, clinical documentation integrity and environmental safety.

Before joining Cooper, Paul served for ten years as the System Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety for Inspira Health based in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. There he led Inspira’s work in quality and safety, resulting in consecutive Leapfrog “A” Hospital Safety Grades and Top Hospital Awards. Additionally, he served as the executive sponsor for Inspira’s high reliability work, and for InspiraOne, the network’s transformation to the Cerner Millennium electronic medical record. During his time with Inspira, Paul led their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as the Incident Commander in the Emergency Operations Center and co-chair of the COVID Vaccination Steering Committee. He also served as Chair of the Southwest Regional Healthcare Coalition for the New Jersey Department of Health.

Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey. He also earned a Master of Health Administration from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania and a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Paul is board certified in healthcare administration and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a Certified Professional in Patient Safety, and a graduate of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Chief Quality Officer program.
