Mindy Painter CCHT, CAN/CCCHTBS

Mindy Painter has worked in dialysis for the last 20 years, starting as an in-center PCT where she worked for thirteen years becoming an expert cannulator, lead preceptor, and home champion. After becoming a home champion and reinforcing self-cannulation education with in-center patients, Mindy began working in the Home Program as a PCT. In this position she learned PD and HHD while reinforcing education with patients. She then helped her region roll out an in-center to home initiative and revitalized the Home Champion Program. Mindy has since led a similar initiative for the entire Western Group within her company in order to achieve the 50% by 2025 goal set by CMS.
