Dr. Mary Schira is a frequent presenter on topics related to physiology, pathophysiology and kidney disease, evidence-based guidelines, and professional practice topics. Prior to her retirement, Mary was an Associate Professor and Student Success Faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington in the MSN Nurse Practitioner and DNP Programs. She is a member of the Dallas Chapter and has been a Nephrology Nurse and ANNA volunteer for over 45 years, serving on the Conferences and Scholarship and Awards Committees. In 2021, Mary received the Outstanding Contribution to ANNA Award.
