Lynn Mack-Shipman, M.D is an Associate Professor in the department of internal medicine, section of endocrinology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she has been a faculty member since completing her endocrinolgy and metabolism fellowship there in 1996. Her clinical interests include women's health with dedicated clinics focusing on thyroid disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and osteoporosis. She also has clinics that focus on diabetes management in the general population as well as special populations (pregnancy, cystic fibrosis, transplantation). She is the principle investigator of a clinical osteoporosis study evaluating interventions to reduce bone loss after kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation. She is actively involved in medical student education as the M2 endocrine core director.
