Lesley C. Dinwiddie received a diploma in General Nursing in Australia, a BA in psychology at the University of Arkansas, and her master's in nursing science at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Though now retired, she previously had an independent nephrology nursing education and consulting practice specializing in Vascular Access. She has been a member of the KDOQI Vascular Access Workgroup for 2004-2006, the Clinical Performance Measures Vascular Access Subcommittee, the Fistula First Breakthrough Initiative, and the 2010 CMS TEP on access infection and has numerous publications and presentations. Ms. Dinwiddie was the 2004-2005 President of the American Nephrology Nurses Association. She continues to enjoy sharing her knowledge and experience of 40 years of nephrology nursing.
