Goal: To provide an overview of a hemodialysis simulation program.

Objectives:

Define healthcare simulation training.
Explain the initiation of the HD-specific patient simulation program and the renal simulation experience at one facility in Queensland, Australia.
Discuss the importance of simulation education for nurses new to the nephrology specialty.
