Kellie Kahveci PhDc, RN, AGPCNP-BC, GNP-BC

Kellie Kahveci is a nurse practitioner currently practicing at the Veterans Administration Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Greenville, Texas. Prior to veterans Kellie cared for older homebound adults enrolled in a house calls practice associated with Baylor Scott and White Health in Dallas, TX. During her 15 years in this practice Kellie assisted the health care system to establish a transitional care program targeting older adults hospitalized with heart failure, COPD, and pneumonia. During the first year of the program focusing only on heart failure the transitional care team was able to help decrease hospital readmissions by 48%.

Kellie hopes to finish her PhD in nursing in the Spring of 2018. When she is not delivering care to veterans you can find Kellie on the farm with her husband and their Dexter cattle, chickens, bees, and garden.
