Katie Feldner is a predoctoral fellow and emerging nurse scientist at the University of Utah College of Nursing. Her dissertation, funded by the National Kidney Foundation, examines how individual, social, and environmental factors impact patient activation and self-management in chronic kidney disease (CKD). With over 20 years of experience in hemodialysis, Katie is committed to improving outcomes for underserved populations. She remains dedicated to patient care as an inpatient nurse and is a senior faculty member at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Katie is also a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and treasurer for the Wisconsin 304 Chapter.
