Goal
To provide an overview of patients’ perspectives from transitioning from a central venous catheter to an arteriovenous fistula for hemodialisys.

Objectives:

Explain the benefits of arteriovenous fistulae as opposed to central venous catheters for patients on hemodialysis.
Discuss patients’ attitudes toward using an ateriovenous fistula for hemodialysis as outlined in this study.
