Katerina Jones DNP, APRN, ANP-C, CNN-NP

Dr. Katerina Jones currently works as a certified nephrology nurse practitioner with Metrolina Nephrology Associates in their Gastonia, North Carolina office. She became a nurse practitioner in 2011 and started working in nephrology in 2016. Dr. Jones became a certified nephrology nurse practitioner in July 2022. Later that year, she co-authored an article on complications of chronic kidney disease that was published in Critical Care Nursing Clinics of North America. She has used her previous internal medicine experience and love of research to give presentations on new therapies in the management of CKD as well as management of primary care conditions impacting CKD patients, providing education to the APP team at her practice as well as to a larger audience through the Interactive Nephrology learning platform.
