Karmen Strickland BSN, RN

Karmen Strickland has 22 years of dialysis experience in a variety of roles. She began her career as a patient care technician, while obtaining her nursing license, and then progressing into leadership roles within operations. This has allowed her to understand each aspect of the dialysis facility and building relationships for success. Karmen has spent the last 4 years in home therapy leadership and has moved the Charlotte HRR from a home penetration of 9.4% to 15.4% during that time. She is most proud of the synergy between her teams and the quality of life offered to patients being at home. Most recently, Karmen has been promoted to senior director of home therapy for the Mid-Atlantic Group of Fresenius Kidney Care.
