Dr. Yost is a board-certified Clinical Health Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She is the director of the UVA Behavioral Emergency Response Team and conducts trainings on behavior management and de-escalation across UVA. She also developed and co-directs the UVA Behavioral Medicine Consultation-Liaison service. In addition to her inpatient work, she provides outpatient services at the UVA Behavioral Medicine Center and UVA Cancer Center. Dr. Yost's clinical work at UVA has been recognized both locally and nationally with the 2020 UVA Interprofessional Collaboration Award and the 2022 American Psychological Association Society of Health Psychology (Division 38) Excellence in Clinical Health Psychology by an Early Career Professional Award.
