Jeffrey Tyer BSN, RN, CNN

Jeffrey Tyer BSN, RN, CNN has been the Sr Manager of Clinical Education with Fresenius Kidney Care for the last 10 years. He is based in San Antonio Texas and manages multiple corporate training centers. He started his Nephrology career over 28yrs ago as a reuse technician after graduating from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science in 1994. He moved up to the position of patient care technician while attending the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio for his nursing degree. He graduated from with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in May 1999. After graduation he held nursing positions with Fresenius Kideny Care, including Clinical Manager for 10yrs. He joined ANNA Alamo City Chapter #205 through a member sponsorship and has been a member ever since. He has held the offices of president elect, president, and many chapter chair positions including certification review events chair and Texas chapter collaborative chair. Currently, he is the special events chair for the Alamo City chapter and the education advisor for ANNA National Education SPN.
