Goal: To raise awareness of factors that may cause problems in patients' adherence to their treatment.

Objectives:

Compare and contrast compliance, adherence, and persistence as they relate to CKD.
Summarise the challenges to and results of poor adherence to treatment regimens.
Describe strategies that may be used to improve adherence to their treatment regimen.
