Jay Cyr MS, MBA, RN

Jay earned his BSN at the University of Texas, a Masters in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Nichols College School of business.

He has spent his entire 30 year nursing career in the cardiovascular service area, as an ICU and ED Staff nurse, a cardiac critical care educator, nurse manager, director and now Vice President where he has focused on improving cardiac services for both providers and patients.

Jay writes and speaks nationally on several issues including Acute Coronary Syndrome, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Platelet Inhibitors, Emergency Cardiac Care, and Financial and Leadership Issues in Nursing. Additionally Jay has published many articles on these same issues in nursing and cardiovascular care. His most recent publications include his research on the aging nursing population and reducing "door to balloon time" for acute myocardial patients.
