Deborah Benner, MA, RD, CSR is Vice President of Clinical Support for DaVita Inc. Responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of DaVita Nutrition Services which includes planning, organizing and providing resources and education to over 1100 dietitians in 1500 dialysis centers nation-wide. She is responsible for coordination of all new-hire dietitian training including specialty training in nephrology nutrition. She also serves in a leadership role in program and policy development to attain the highest level of nutrition quality of care, patient outcomes and standards of nutritional practice. Debbie has 30 years experience in the nephrology field having working with both HD and PD therapies. Debbie has served on the executive board for the Council on Renal Nutrition and was the 2009 Recognized Renal Dietitian of the year. Debbie has published numberous abstracts and articles in the area of nephrology nutrition.
