Viruses can cause an alarming issue for the immunocompromised patient. This session reviews the most common viruses affecting the individual with a kidney transplant, reviews the presentation of clinical symptomatology, and analyzes when these infections are most likely to present. In a case study format, key elements of patient care are identified and discussed.
