Cynthia Saver has more than 30 years’ experience in nursing and more than 20 years of editorial experience. Cynthia has written for many nursing publications including the Journal of Nursing Regulation, Nursing Spectrum, Nursing Management, Nurse.com, American Nurse Today, AORN Journal, OR Manager, and the American Journal of Nursing, to name a few. She has been editorial director for a medical communications company, executive vice president of editorial for Nursing Spectrum, and book acquisitions editor for Sigma Theta Tau International.
Cynthia is currently president of CLS Development, which provides editorial services to leading nursing publishing companies. She is editor of Anatomy of Writing for Publication for Nurses, which received a book of the year award from the American Journal of Nursing. She has presented many programs on writing for publications, from one-hour sessions to all-day workshops.
