Christine M. Chmielewski MS, CRNP, ANP-BC, CNN-NP

Christine Chmielewski is a nephrology nurse practitioner with Jefferson Renal Associates at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in nursing from Wilkes College and her M.S. in nursing, with a focus on renal nursing, from Boston University. She earned her post-Master’s certificate as an adult nurse practitioner from Temple University. Christine has worked in nephrology nursing for over 40 years! She has clinical experience in the areas of multi-organ transplant, dialytic therapies, and all stages of CKD. In her current position as a nurse practitioner, she provides care to nephrology patients in both the dialysis setting and the nephrology office. As an educator, Christine taught undergraduate nursing at Holy Family University and Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a guest lecturer for the Acute Care, Primary Care, and Family NP programs at Thomas Jefferson University. She is actively involved in nursing continuing education as a presenter at local, regional, and national programs. Also, as an author, Christine has authored and co-authored nephrology-related articles, chapters, and case studies.
