Goal: To provide an overview of work-related emotional stressors that impact the wellbeing of nurses working in hemodialysis units and to identify their coping techniques.

Objectives:

Describe the work-place stressors nurses working in hemodialysis units may encounter.
Define planful problem-solving.
Identify the most frequent methods of coping used by nurses working in hemodialysis units to cope with work-related stressors as indicated by this study.
Explain how nurses working in hemodialysis units may utilize methods of coping in their daily work routines to enhance and improve their work environments.
