Amy L. Woodard BSN, RN, CNN, CCTC

Amy Woodard is a North Carolina native and works as the living donor coordinator for kidney & liver transplant at the UNC Center for Transplant Care in Chapel Hill, NC. She is a graduate of East Carolina University and has been a nephrology nurse for over 29 years with experience in both outpatient hemodialysis and kidney transplant.

She is an active member of ANNA having served many roles over the last 25 years such as chapter secretary, chapter treasuer, SPN education advisor, SPN Leader and as a member of the national conference planning committee. She is currently the SPN chair designate for the 2024-2025 year. She is a certified nephrology nurse and a certified Transplant Coordinator. She has been published in the Nephrology Nursing Journal and ANNA Nephrology nursing textbooks. She has also given multiple presentations to nurses and patients locally, regionally and nationally.
