Objectives:

Cite the morbidity and mortality associated with hypertension in patients with kidney disease.
Examine effective methods to attain dry weight and control hypertension in patients on hemodialysis.
Explain physiologic principles that affect ultrafiltration and achievement of dry weight during the dialysis treatment.
