Allison Lyons MHRM, SPHR

Allison Lyons leads the Administrative Human Resources Team for Mayo Clinic in Florida, and also leads the Employee Relations activities for this group as well.

Allison teaches a number of classes on Performance Management, Communication, and generational differences in the Workplace along with other Human Resources related topics. She has been with the organization for 12 years. Prior to working for Mayo Clinic, she worked with an Investment Firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Allison has over 14 years of expertise in the areas of Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training and Development, Union Grievances, and Conflict Resolution, and other Organizational issues. She has her Masters' degree in Human Resources Management from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. Her Bachelor's degree is in Business Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Allison also has a National Certification as a Senior Human Resources Professional by the Society of Human Resources Management.

She is very active in the Jacksonville community as a member of the United Way of Northeast Florida's Board of Directors. She also chaired the Atlantic Circle, the Young Professionals Group for four years. Allison was selected as Stein Fellow, a Leadership Development Program for United Way. She has been active with INROADS, and was Nominated as their Instructor of the Year.

Allison has been married for 10 years to a Middle School Principal, and has a three year-old son.
