Description

Goal: To provide an overview of the effect of an educational program based on clinical practice guidelines to improve the knowledge and performance of nurses in hemodialysis settings.

Objectives:

  1. Explain the importance of nursing standards when formulating clinical practice guidelines.
  2. Evaluate the knowledge level of nursing staff after an educational intervention based on adapted standards of care.
  3. Discuss performance changes noted in nursing staff after the application of an educational intervention based on adapted standards of care.
